Eh... I like Langenbrunner, but I'm always worried about complimentry guys on good teams.  He's also a thousand. That being said, his salary's reasonable. If you can get him at a reasonable price, you have to consider it as a decent stop gap.

That being said, I push HARD for Zajac. Love him. He'd be PERFECT for this team. I've prepared two fantasy line combinations. One for if Kadri plays in the NHL and one for if he doesn't (Burke LOVES to make kids wait).

If he doesn't improve at all (and let's face it, at his age, staying the same would be a bust) then he's not really all that far off Kessel in terms of points. Kessel's not a huge point producer. Pure shooter. Hopefully he'll round out, and the comparables who put up those numbers at that age all did, but I'm not sure he'll get any more than 60 this year. 70 would be great, but I wouldn't count on it yet.

Makes $2.8 million in the last year of his contract. With the Devils having $3 mill over the cap they need to shed the $$$. Jamie Langenbrunner whould be the best bet because Danius Zubrus and Bryce Salvador, who would likely not find a lot of teams interested due to their salary and that they have multiple years left on their deals. So what would you give up for him?
